A note from Al,
Hello,
We’re in June - half way through the year. How on earth did that happen? This months newsletter is a juicy one, I found myself constantly saving and noting down what to feature this month, the city really is waking up for the summer. And it seems like we’re in the season of collaboration, the mantra here at nozza news is collaboration over competition so it’s so lovely to see local indies working with each other to create magic. We are all stronger together.
Personally, it was quite a landmark month for me, I had my first ever Cafe Gelato experience, I know. Blasphemy. But the stars aligned and it was the perfect time to experience the sweet sweet goodness. I will be back.
So, over on socials last week I announced that I’ve committed to launching our first Community Grant in July, but in order to make it a reality I’m still on the hunt for 10 new members to join The Neighbourhood. For £3.50 a month you a) help keep our lights on and publishing this very newsletter for free, forever but also b) help be part of our future, and that involves being part of our community grant fund. I’d really love to have you join us.
As always, pass this newsletter on to your pals, head out into the streets & support our locals. Best, Al x
